Low solar flare activity. The solar winds are presently strong due to
high speed streams emanating from a coronal hole. Unsettled to Active
geomagnetic conditions and possible Storm periods at higher latitudes
are likely today, 07 Dec, especially if IMF Bz has an extended
southward excursion. Conditions for HF radio communication are
expected to remain degraded. There is a possibility for a aurora
sightings in Tasmania tonight.
