Fri Aug 21 09:53:25 EST 2015
Low solar flare activity is expected over the next 24 hours, with
chance of C-class flare and a small chance of stronger M-class flare.
The observed increase in solar activity is mainly associated with an
active sunspot Region (2403) located on the southeast limb of the
solar disk. The solar winds are expected to be moderately higher over
the next UT day as the effects of a large Coronal Hole (CH 683) wanes.
Conditions for HF radio propagation were depressed during 20 Aug and
similar conditions are expected on 21 Aug. HF radio operators should
try using lower frequencies if possible.
