Low solar flare activity. The effects of a coronal mass ejection on 6
Oct are currently in progress causing a strong solar wind and storming
in the geomagnetic field. The geomagnetic field should be at active to
minor storm levels, settling later. High-frequency radio
communications fair to normal. Aurora sightings likely from southern
Australian regions.
