SUBJ: SWS PRELIMINARY HF RADIO COMMUNICATIONS WARNING 16/24
ISSUED AT 0239UT/14 MAY 2016
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

Minor geomagnetic storm conditions are expected on UT day 15-16 
May. The HF conditions for the southern hemisphere are expected 
to degrade on the 16 and 17 May in response to the forecasted 
storm conditions. Stronger and maybe even earlier degradations 
of HF conditions are expected for the northern hemisphere.

DEGRADED HF PROPAGATION CONDITIONS EXPECTED
FROM 16-17 MAY 2016
IF COMMS DIFFICULTIES EXPERIENCED TRY A LOWER FREQUENCY BAND
A MORE DETAILED HF WARNING WILL FOLLOW IF DEPRESSIONS EVENTUATE.
