SUBJ: SWS HF RADIO COMMUNICATIONS WARNING 16/69
ISSUED AT 0031UT/22 DECEMBER 2016
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

Expected rise in geomagnetic activity levels due to a coronal 
hole effect is likely to result in minor to significant MUF depressions 
from 22 to 24 December. These depressions are likely to be stronger 
on high and some mid latitude locations. Lowering the operating 
frequency to maintain contact may result in propagation via sporadic 
E layers when present.
