SUBJ: SWS HF RADIO COMMUNICATIONS WARNING 16/66
ISSUED AT 0328UT/12 DECEMBER 2016
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.
The Earth ionosphere is currently under the influence of moderately
disturbed solar winds associated with a large southern hemisphere
coronal hole. Although the coronal hole effects are waning, the
ionospheric depression are expected to last for few more day.
The depressions are expected to be stronger in the southern hemisphere
compared to the northern hemisphere. HF users are advised to
use lower than the monthly predicted frequencies for the next
three days.
