SUBJ: IPS HF RADIO COMMUNICATIONS WARNING 07/02
ISSUED AT 18/0432Z JANUARY 2007
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.
SOUTHERN AUS/NZ REGION MUFS HAVE BECOME DEPRESSED AFTER
03UT TODAY BY UP TO 20 TO 30%. SOUTHERN REGION MUFS NOW EXPECTED
TO REMAIN DEPRESSED FOR REMAINDER OF TODAY. ALSO, MUFS AT THE ISLAND
OF NIUE ARE DEPRESSED 30% AT PRESENT.
NORTHERN AUSTRALIAN REGION MUFS (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE ISLAND
OF NIUE) HAVE REMAINED NEAR TO 15% ABOVE IPS PREDICTED MONTHLY VALUES.
DEGRADED HF PROPAGATION CONDITIONS EXPECTED SOUTHERN AUS/NZ ONLY
