BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.
SOUTHERN AUS/NZ REGION MUFs DEPRESSED AFTER LOCAL
DAWN THIS MORNING FOLLOWING OVERNIGHT GEOMAGNETIC
ACTIVITY INDUCED BY CORONAL HOLE WIND STREAM. NORTHERN
AUS REGION MUFs ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN MOSTLY NEAR
PREDICTED MONTHLY VALUES.
DUE TO BROAD EXTENT OF THIS CORONAL HOLE, INDUCED
GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY MAY KEEP SOUTHERN AUS/NZ
REGION MUFS LOWER THAN NORMAL UNTIL AROUND 18 OCT,
PARTICULARLY AFTER LOCAL DAWN.
DEPRESSED AND DEGRADED HF PROPAGATION CONDITIONS EXPECTED
FROM 15 OCTOBER 2003 SOUTHERN AUS/NZ REGION ONLY.
