BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.
MUFS AFTER LOCAL DAWN SOUTH OF CANBERRA AND
IN NEW ZEALAND ARE DEPRESSED 20% FOLLOWING WEAK
OVERNIGHT GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY. MUFS NORTH OF
SYDNEY ARE CURRENTLY ENHANCED BY UP TO 25% AND
COMMUNICATORS IN THIS REGION SHOULD USE A T OF 130
TO 150.
IN GENERAL CORONAL HOLE INDUCED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY IS
EXPECTED TO CAUSE A SEPRATION IN MUF SUPPORT LEVELS
OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS, WITH DEPRESSED CONDITIONS LIKELY AFTER
LOCAL DAWN FOR SOUTHERN AUS/NZ REGION, AND THE LIKELYHOOD
OF CONTINUED ENHANCED CONDITIONS IN NORTHERN AUS/NZ REGION.
