SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 26/01
ISSUED AT 0017UT/01 JANUARY 2026
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

G2 geomagnetic conditions are now expected from the second half 
of the UT day on 02-Jan and into the first half of the UT day 
03-Jan due to the anticipated glancing blow arrival of the R2 
(M7) flare and CME observed on 31-Dec.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
