SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 26/49
ISSUED AT 0130UT/03 AUGUST 2026
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

A CME first observed on 30-Jul arrived at Earth on 02-Aug, with 
a sudden impulse recorded at 1225UT. G0-G1 geomagnetic conditions 
are forecast for UT day 03-Aug due to ongoing effects from this 
CME.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION

BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

A recent increase in solar wind speed and an enhancement in IMF 
conditions has produced a period of global G2 conditions on 8-Aug. 
More periods of G1-G2 geomagnetic conditions are expected over 
08-09 Aug.

DUE TO CORONAL HOLE HIGH SPEED WIND STREAM
