SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 24/25
ISSUED AT 0052UT/12 MAY 2024
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

On 11-May planetary geomagnetic conditions reached G5 and Australian 
regional geomagnetic conditions reached G4 due to the arrival 
of several CMEs. Further CME arrivals are anticipated on 12 and 
13-May which are expected to induce planetary G3 conditions on 
12-May and planetary G1-G2 conditions on 13-May. Geomagnetic 
activity is then expected to decline by 14-May.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
