SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 24/12
ISSUED AT 2204UT/23 MARCH 2024
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

G1 geomagnetic activity is expected on early UT day 24-Mar due 
to a coronal hole wind stream. A CME is then later expected by 
either the end of UT day 24-Mar or early 25-Mar, inducing G2-G3 
geomagnetic conditions with a chance for G4. Conditions are expected 
to ease to G1-G2 by 26-Mar.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
