SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 24/03
ISSUED AT 2132UT/23 JANUARY 2024
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

A large filament erupted in the solar southwest quadrant on 22-Jan 
that was associated with a dense CME that is expected to arrive 
from 25/1300 UT +/- 10 hours. Multiple slow to moderate CMEs 
have been associated with the solar flares from AR3561 on 23-Jan, 
and a glancing blow from these events is expected by 26/2000 
UT +/- 10 hours.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
