SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 24/05
ISSUED AT 2223UT/10 FEBRUARY 2024
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

A CME possibly associated with a filament eruption may arrive 
at Earth early on UT day 12-Feb, although this is low confidence. 
Late on 12-Feb or early 13-Feb a CME associated with AR3576 is 
expected to arrive. While confidence on arrival is high, there 
is some question to the extent of impact. Associated with an 
X3 class flare on the western limb and an M3 flare on the eastern 
limb were fast partial halo CMEs that may cause a shock to be 
observed at Earth over 12-13 Feb, although no significant impact 
is expected.
