SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 24/15
ISSUED AT 2202UT/19 APRIL 2024
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

An isolated period of planetary G3 geomagnetic conditions has 
been observed on 19-Apr, associated with a recent CME arrival 
that carried prolonged southward solar wind parameter Bz. Mostly 
G0 geomagnetic conditions are expected over the end of 19-APR 
UT day and into 20-Apr, although there is a chance for isolated 
periods of G1.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
