SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 23/48
ISSUED AT 0645UT/01 SEPTEMBER 2023
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

A CME was observed associated with a filament eruption
on 30/2212 UT. This CME likely has an Earth-directed component
 and is expected to arrive at 1800 UT +/- 12 hours on 02-Sep, 
although there is low confidence on arrival time. A second 
CME was observed from 01/0323 UT associated with an R1 solar 
flare from sunspot region AR3414. This CME is expected to have 
a glancing blow from 1200 UT +/- 8 hours on 03-Sep. Each of 
these events is expected to induce G1-G2 geomagnetic conditions 
with a chance of G3. These CMEs are not expected to interact 
significantly, however, if there is an interaction then further
 periods of G3 are possible.
