SUBJ: ASWFC GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 23/66
ISSUED AT 2146UT/04 NOVEMBER 2023
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE.

Geomagnetic conditions are expected to be G1 at the beginning 
of UT day 05-Nov due to a recent CME impact. A CME associated 
with a large filament eruption was observed on 03-Nov and is 
expected to have an Earth-directed component, arriving near 05/1900 
UT +/- 12 hours. G2-G3 geomagnetic conditions are possible at 
the end of 05-Nov or on 06-Nov, but there is a large degree of 
uncertainty around the time of arrival and strength due to the 
nature of the event. Heightened geomagnetic conditions are expected 
to continue over the end of 06-Nov.
