SUBJ: SWS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 22/06
ISSUED AT 0144UT/31 JANUARY 2022
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

AR2936 produced a long duration M1 flare peaking at 29/2332UT, 
which triggered a halo CME. The CME is expected to arrive at 
Earth from late on 1-February to mid 2-February. As a result, 
the geomagnetic conditions are expected to reach major storm 
levels.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
