SUBJ: SWS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 22/07
ISSUED AT 0831UT/03 FEBRUARY 2022
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

The north south component of the interplanetary magnetic field 
has become southward by up to -18nT over the last couple of hours, 
a condition strongly correlated with increased geomagnetic activity. 
This could be part of a recurring magnetic structure within the 
solar wind. Geomagnetic activity was expected to decline as recent
mild induced activity form a coronal mass ejection subsided.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL HOLE HIGH SPEED WIND STREAM
