SUBJ: SWS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 19/16
ISSUED AT 0256UT/05 JULY 2019
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

On 5 July global geomagnetic activity may reach Active and Minor 
Storm levels due to arrival of the corotating interaction region 
and high-speed solar wind stream associated with a recurrent 
trans-equatorial coronal hole. There is a chance of Aurora sightings 
from southernmost Australian regions (Tasmania and South Victoria) 
should increased geomagnetic activity and favourable viewing 
conditions eventuate. Aurora alerts will follow if significant 
geomagnetic activity actually occurs.
