SUBJ: SWS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 17/35
ISSUED AT 1109UT/30 JULY 2017
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

A negative equatorial coronal hole has reached geoeffective location 
on the solar disk. Unsettled to active geomagnetic conditions 
are expected for UT day 31 July associated with the anticipated 
arrival of the corotating interaction region driven by the coronal 
hole. On UT day 1 Aug, conditions are expected to be mostly unsettled 
during the passage of subsequent high speed solar wind streams 
associated with the coronal hole.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL HOLE HIGH SPEED WIND STREAM
