SUBJ: SWS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 16/30
ISSUED AT 0113UT/20 JULY 2016
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

A shock wave signature was detected in the solar wind on 19 July 
at 23:00. A geomagnetic sudden impulse was observed followed 
by a minor storm period. Further minor to major storm levels 
are expected for 20 July with the small chance of isolated severe storm 
periods.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
