SUBJ: IPS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 15/01
ISSUED AT 0211UT/02 FEBRUARY 2015
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

High solar wind speeds coupled with significant southward pointing 
of the interplanetary magnetic field are causing active to minor 
storm levels of geomagnetic activity across the Australian region. 
Mostly active conditions are expected over the next 2-3 days 
but further active to minor Storm periods are possible. Note 
that this supersedes early forecast of unsettled to active conditions.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL HOLE HIGH SPEED WIND STREAM
