SUBJ: IPS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 12/16
ISSUED AT 2345UT/06 OCTOBER 2012
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

The effect of an earthward directed partial halo CME may 
increase the geomagnetic activity to Unsettled to Active 
levels with the possibility of Minor Storm periods during 
the second half of UT day 8 October and on 09 October.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED 
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
