SUBJ: IPS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 11/25
ISSUED AT 22/0304Z DECEMBER 2011
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

Type II radio bursts observed, suggesting coronal
mass ejection. Flare location indicates
geoeffective potential. Further updates will be given when
more data in available.
INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY POSSIBLE
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
FROM 24-26 DECEMBER 2011

Shock expected late on the 24th or early on the 25th of December.

24 Dec: Quiet conditions prior to possible shock arrival 
25 Dec: Active conditions possible
