SUBJ: IPS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 08/07
ISSUED AT 28/0453Z MAY 2008
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED FOR 28 MAY 2008

A transient in some of the solar wind parameters was observed
at approximately 0130UT on 28 May and was most likely due to 
a coronal hole co-rotating interaction region (CIR).

A small sudden impulse of approximately 10-20 nT was observed
across the Australian region at approximately 0220UT on 28 May.
Further unsettled levels are possible for the remainder of the
UT day with the small chance of active levels.
