SUBJ: IPS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 05/19
ISSUED AT 20/0549Z MAY 2005
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

A weak sudden impulse has been observed in the IPS
magnetometer data at 0403UT on 20 May, possibly due 
to the arrival of the CME observed on 17 May. Active 
to minor storm periods are probable during the next
24 hours.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
