SUBJ: IPS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 04/33
ISSUED AT 10/0017Z DECEMBER 2004
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

The CME, that was observed in association with a C2.5 flare
on 08 December, is expected to arrive late on 11 December.
The effect of this CME may raise the geomagnetic activity
to active to minor storm levels with possibility of isolated
major storm conditions on 11 and 12 December. 


INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
FROM 11-12 DECEMBER 2004

GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY FORECAST 
11 Dec: Quiet to unsettled in early hours, active to minor 
	storm with possibility of isolated major storm in 
	late hours.
12 Dec: Active to minor storm with possibility of isolated 
	major storm.
