SUBJ: IPS GEOMAGNETIC DISTURBANCE WARNING 04/12
ISSUED AT 03/0035Z APRIL 2004
BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

A faint and slow front-side full halo CME was observed on
31 March.  A weak shock from this CME is expected to arrive 
on 04 March.  The geomagnetic activity may rise to unsettled 
to active levels with some possibility of isolated minor storm 
periods on 04 April, especially at high latitudes due to this 
CME activity. 

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION
