BY THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE.

INCREASED GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY EXPECTED FOR 01-02 FEBRUARY 2003
DUE TO CORONAL MASS EJECTION

A halo CME observed on 30 January is expected to impact the
Earth late in the UT day of 1 February. Active to minor
storm levels are expected to follow and persist into 2 Feb.

02 Feb:  Unsettled to active with possible minor storm levels.
