Report of Aurora Observation from Port Huon [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

Colours: Green, Purple, Pink
Extent: Visibly Green band between SW and WSW 20 degrees above horizon initially
Other Details: Multiple beams emanating at various periods, strongest visibly purple to 50 degrees above horizon.  By 23.30 had become curtain between 10 and 30 degrees above horizon with visible structure extending from S to W.  Started fading and could no longer see visible colour by 01:00 but was still visible as white band.
