Hobart aurora, nights of 9 and 10th of July

Aurora seen through clouds from Howden, 20 km south of Hobart, on the
evenings of both Saturday 9th of July and Sunday 10th of July, 2005.

Green light was first seen in the south through cloud gaps shortly
before midnight on both nights, and appeared to be long lasting, e.g. as
auroral rays and arcs were seen at 05:30 am Monday morning through a
larger cloud gap.
