Aurora seen from New York State, USA

There was a moderate to major aurora as seen from northern New York State,
USA on the evening of November-7th (Nov.8th UTC). The time period was
approximately 0300-0430 UTC (Nov.8th). A corona formed at the local magnetic
zenith for most of this time with rays extending to the east and west
horizons. The northern horizon was illuminated with a continuous glow. The
color of this aurora was mostly white with occasional red hues. There was
also a lot of movement in the coronal rays.
