Report of Aurora Observation

Observed aurora from Blackmans Bay Tasmania Australia on Tuesday 27 July
2004 between 1900 hours and 2100 hours before it clouded in. Most of it was
out of sight over the horizon, but we could see reflections off the clouds
which produced an unusual if not freakish effect. There were also
occasional red, green and white search lights shooting vertically up over
the horizon and waves of light moving horizontally - fantastic!!!
