"Energizer Bunny" Aurora

"Energizer Bunny" Aurora keeps going and going and going....

November 20 saw a very long-lasting aurora that provided entertainment for 
many operators all over the globe.

Not many details are available yet.  But it began in Europe during the 
European morning on the 20th.

Operators in the northern parts of the US were reporting aurora early in 
the morning hours there, with signals audible south of the Ohio River by 
about 1530 Z.  It continued on and off until 0100 Z (Nov 21), and probably 
later than that for stations farther north.

Signals strongest here about 1800 and 2200 UTC.
In and out several times between 1530 and 0100 Z (central KY).  Northern 
stations had aurora longer, but nothing further known at this time.
At  peak(s), many stations on 144 MHz, signals strong.  Distance nothing 
unusual here, but apparently some of the northern stations (and some 
Europeans) did very well as to distance.
No visible aurora here - as usual.
