Relaying a recent Tasmanian report via Paul Moss in New Zealand.

Location:  Ulverstone, Tasmania  (Latitude: 41d10m S, Longitude: 146d11m E)

Last night at 10:30pm (2003 November 11, 1130 UTC) i went out to check if there was an aurora, and i saw a 
red beam going up in the south west so i went back inside and set up my camera and tripod, but by the time i got back out there was only a very faint green glow.
