ISSUED AT 0750 UT ON 12 Sep 2024
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE

Two coronal mass ejections are expected to impact the Earth within the
next 48 hours, possibly resulting in significant geomagnetic activity
and visible auroras from Tasmania and southern Victoria during local
nighttime hours. Aurora alerts will follow if significant geomagnetic
activity actually occurs.
