ISSUED AT 0247 UT ON 24 Jan 2024
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE

A coronal mass ejection is expected to impact the Earth around 1300 UT
on 25-Jan +/- 10 hours, possibly resulting in significant geomagnetic
activity and visible auroras during local nighttime hours for southern
parts of Australia such as Tasmania. Aurora alerts will follow if
significant geomagnetic activity actually occurs.
