SUBJ: ASWFC AURORA WATCH
ISSUED AT 0133 UT ON 12 Feb 2024
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE

Several coronal mass ejections are expected to impact Earth over UT
days 12-13 Feb, possibly causing geomagnetic storming. There is a
chance that this may cause visible auroras in locations such as
Tasmania and southern Victoria during local night hours on these days.
Alerts will follow if significant geomagnetic activity does
eventuate.
