ISSUED AT 0116 UT ON 10 Aug 2024
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE

Multiple coronal mass ejections are expected to impact the Earth
within the next 48 hours, possibly resulting in G1-G2 planetary
geomagnetic activity and visible auroras during local nighttime hours
in Tasmania and southern Victoria. Aurora alerts will follow if
significant geomagnetic activity actually occurs.
