ISSUED AT 0653 UT ON 29 Nov 2023
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE WEATHER FORECASTING CENTRE

Several coronal mass ejections are expected to impact the Earth within
the next 48 hours, over UT days 30-Nov and 01-Dec. This may possibly
result in significant geomagnetic activity and visible auroras during
local nighttime hours for these days. Auroras may be seen in high and
middle latitude locations, such as Tasmania, Victoria, and southern
parts of Australia. Aurora alerts will follow if significant
geomagnetic activity actually occurs.
