FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE

There is a chance of a late arrival of the 08Mar coronal mass ejection
(CME) that may impact the Earth over the next 12-24 hours which could
result in significant geomagnetic activity and visible auroras during
local nighttime hours for southernmost locations (Tasmania, Southern
VIC). Aurora alerts will follow should elevated solar wind parameters
(increased speed, density and sustained southward Bz) eventuate.
