FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE

Effects of a coronal hole are expected to impact the Earth within the
next 12-48 hours. This may result in significant geomagnetic activity
and visible auroras during local nighttime hours should favourable
viewing conditions, elevated solar wind speeds and sustained southward
Bz conditions eventuate. Aurora alerts will follow if significant
geomagnetic activity actually occurs.
