ISSUED AT 0256 UT ON 25 Aug 2018 by Space Weather Services
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE

There is a slight chance of a glancing blow from a (late arriving)
slow coronal mass ejection (CME) over the next 24 hours resulting in
periods of Active to Minor Storm conditions. Should this CME arrival
eventuate during local nighttime hours, Aurora sightings are possible
from southernmost Australian regions (TAS and VIC coastline) if
favourable viewing conditions exist. Aurora alerts will follow if
significant geomagnetic activity actually occurs.
