SUBJ: IPS AURORA WATCH
ISSUED AT 0627 UT ON 26 Dec 2015 BY IPS RADIO AND SPACE SERVICES
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE

The low energy protons observed by ACE satellite show evidence of
possible arrival of a glancing blow from the 24 December CME. Minor
geomagnetic storms are expected on UT day 27 December and possibly on
28 December associated with this event. A favourable IMF Bz condition
may lead to aurora sightings from Tasmania during the local nights.
