I am sending the latest information about what is going on in Commission
B. I appreciate if you transfer these to all the URSI correspondences in
your country/region.=20

Amongst all, following two items are very important for Commission B
colleagues.

(1) The deadline of advanced registration for coming EMT-S Pisa is
extended to 31 March.

(2) Proposals for Topics/Talks in General assembly New Delhi, India are
welcome.

2004 Commission B Electromagnetic Theory Symposium (EMT-S) will be held
in Pisa, Italy 23-27 May, 2004.=20

We have about 480 submission of papers. Series of plenary sessions are
scheduled, which includes historical, educational and topical talks
presented by leading authorities every morning. The tentative program is
available on the Web.=20

All the Commission B colleagues are encouraged to attend this triennial
event. The advance registration with reduced rate will be valid through
March 31 (EXTENDED 2 weeks).

URSI 28th General Assembly (GA) will be held in New Delhi India on 23-29
October 2005. The Coordinating committe for GA will be held in 14, 15
May, 2004. So, proposals as for the Commission B technical program in
GA, as well as for the whole assembly are welcome. They will be
summarized and presented at the Coordinating committe for GA, as
Commission B proposals.=20

1) Scientific topics and sessions, and possible conveners,
2) Titles of tutorials, and possible lecturers,
3) Title of General Lecture, and possible lecturer

I would like to add that proposals for the technical program in 2005 GA
are now welcome from anybody in any forms.

Preliminary Proposals to host the 2010 EMT-S.
We will discuss the venue for future EMT-S, in Pisa Symp. Formal
"Request for Proposasl" will be sent out to national representatioves
soon. Attractive proposals from all of the national representatives are
welcome. Tentative (subject to change) schedule is as follows.=20

1)  Proposal for 2010 EMT-S Venue Deadline 2004.04.15 (Tentative)
2)  Review by ad hoc Committee to select 2 or 3 proposals   04.15-05.10=20
3)  Short presentation in 2004 EMT-S                       2004.05

Vote for election will be conducted in 2005 GA. Formal "Request for
