2. FORECAST (19 APRIL - 25 APRIL)
Solar:
Solar activity is expected to be at the R1 level with a chance
of R2 over the week of 19-25 Apr. The main driver for this is
a collection of sunspot regions on the solar disk, centered around
S13E14, which are developing rapidly, magnetically complex and
have a history of producing R1 level flare activity.

Geomagnetic:
Mostly G0 geomagnetic activity is expected over the week with a
chance of G1 level activity on 20-Apr due to a possible glancing
impact from a CME first observed on 16-Apr. G1 level activity is
also possible on 22-Apr due to high speed wind stream effects from
a small coronal hole currently rotating into a geoeffective
location.

Frequencies:
MUFs in the Australian region are expected to be near predicted
monthly values to 15% enhanced over the week of 19-25 Apr. There
is a chance of mildly depressed conditions on 20-23 Apr in the
southern Australian region due to possible geomagnetic activity.
