   Niue Island Region:

      at Darwin 11-14, 22 UT. Depressions to 30% 22-23 UT
      at Townsville.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Mostly near predicted monthly values.
      Some stations depressed to 30% after local dawn.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Mostly near predicted monthly values to 25% enhanced.

21 Oct 
Solar:        Moderate, with an M1.2 at 2257UT
Geomagnetic:  Quiet to Unsettled
Frequencies:  
   Cocos Island Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Enhanced 20-35%
      08-15 UT.
   Niue Island Region:
      Enhanced 20-35% 00-05, 10-12, 22-23 UT. Near
      predicted monthly values at other times.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Depressions of
      20-30% 00-01 UT at Townsville.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Depressions of 15-30% 00-09 UT then near predicted
      monthly values. Perth MUFs also depressed 15-25%
      09-23 UT. Learmonth and Norfolk Is mostly near
      predicted monthly values 00-23 UT. Night spread F
      observed at Canberra, Hobart and Perth.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Mostly near predicted monthly values with occasional
      depressions to 25%.

22 Oct 
Solar:        High, with an M8.7 at 0201UT, an M2.7 at 0517UT, 
              an X1.7 at 1428UT, and an M1.4 at 1557UT
Geomagnetic:  Quiet to Unsettled
Frequencies:  
   Cocos Island Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Enhanced 25-30%
      21-22 UT.
   Niue Island Region:
      Enhanced 25-40% 00-08, 11-12, 21-23 UT. Near
      predicted monthly values at other times.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Enhanced 20-35%
      20-22 UT at Townsville. No Townsville data 06-19 UT.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values with enhancements to
      25% 09-18 UT. Learmonth and Perth depressed to 30%
      00-10 UT then near predicted monthly values.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values to 30% enhanced.
      Mawson depressed to 30% 12-18 UT.

23 Oct 
Solar:        Moderate, with an M1.1 at 0950UT
Geomagnetic:  Quiet to Unsettled
Frequencies:  
   Cocos Island Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Enhanced 20-30%
      11-14 UT.
   Niue Island Region:
      Enhanced 25-40% 00-05, 10-11, 14-17, 22-23 UT.
      Enhanced to 20% at other times.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values to 20% enhanced.
      Enhanced 30-50% 06-13 UT at Darwin.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Enhanced by 20-30%
      10-16 UT at eastern Australia stations.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values to 30% enhanced.

 
2. FORECAST (24 OCTOBER - 30 OCTOBER)
Solar: Moderate to high.

Geomagnetic: Quiet to unsettled. Isolated active periods
on 24 Oct.

Frequencies: Near predicted monthly values to 20% enhanced.
Possible mild depressions on 24-25 Oct. Sudden ionospheric
disturbances (SWFs) possible.
