18 Feb 
Solar: High (M6.6 at 1011 UT, M1.0 at 1027 UT, M1.5 at 1303 UT,
   M1.0 at 1408 UT and an M1.3 at 2105 UT)
Geomagnetic:  Quiet to major storm. Weak impulses were observed in
   the IPS magnetometer data at 0131 UT (27 nT), 0546 UT (22 nT)
   and 0923 UT (14 nT).
Frequencies:  
   Cocos Island Region:
      Enhanced by 25% during local day.
      Enhanced by 25% during local night.
   Niue Island Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day.
      Enhanced by 40% during local night.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Enhanced by 30% during local day.
      Enhanced by 45% during local night.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day.
      Enhanced by 20% during local night.
      Depressed by 20% after local dawn.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Depressed by 20% over the UT day.

Geomagnetic:  Quiet to unsettled

      Enhanced by 20% during local day.
      Near predicted monthly values during local night.

      to 30% 03, 19 UT at Sydney and 00-03 UT at Perth.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values to 20% depressed.
      Occasional depressions to 35%.

Geomagnetic:  Quiet

   Cocos Island Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Enhancements to 20%
      07-09 UT and depressions to 25% 03-04, 13-18, 23 UT.
   Niue Island Region:
      Enhancements to 35% 00-06 UT and depressions to 23%
      08-12 UT. Near predicted values at other times.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values with depressions to 23%
      05-07 UT at Darwin. No data from Townsville.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Depressions to 20%
      08-14 UT at Brisbane, Canberra, Norfolk Is. and
      Sydney. Depressions to 20% 02-13 and 19-20 UT at
      Hobart. Enhancements to 30% 18-21 UT at Perth.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values with depressions to 20%
      mostly 00-07 UT.

Geomagnetic:  Quiet to unsettled

      Near predicted monthly values.

      Near predicted monthly values with enhancements to 45%
      04-06 UT and depressions to 35% 07-14 and 17-22 UT.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. No Townsville data.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values with depressions to 35%
      00-03 and 10-18 UT at all stations.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values with occasional
      depressions to 30%.

Solar:        Moderate (M3.5 at 0738 UT)
Geomagnetic:  Quiet 
Frequencies:  
   Cocos Island Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Enhancements to 30%
      09-11 UT. Depressed 20% at 23 UT.
   Niue Island Region:
      Near predicted monthly values with enhancements to
      45% 04-06 UT then depressions to 35% 07-14, 17 and
      19-23 UT. Night spread F observed.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. No Townsville data.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values with depressions to 20%
      00-03 and to 35% 10-18 UT. Night spread F observed at
      Hobart.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values with occasional
      depressions to 30%.

2. FORECAST (25 FEBRUARY - 03 MARCH)
Solar: Low to moderate.

Geomagnetic: Quiet to unsettled conditions. Active conditions
   possible 28 February to 2 March.

Frequencies: Near predicted monthly values to 20% depressed.
   Chance of sudden ionospheric disturbances (SWFs). Possibly
   deeper MUF depressions 1 and 2 March.
